conservation of industrial heritage

MIHA was set up in 2022 as  a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental organisation and is registered with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations in Malta. 
The Association adopts and embraces the principles and definitions as presented in the joint ICOMOS-TICCIH Principles for the Conservation of Industrial Heritage Sites, Structures, Areas and Landscapes (Dublin Principles).

MIHA is active in Communicating the importance of Industrial Heritage, Conservation of Buildings,  Equipment and Machinery,  Managing Industrial Heritage Collections, Historic Sites and Museums and  leading Projects and Research activities.

MIHA collects heritage elements at risk, assesses their value and significance and ensures long term preservation.

MIHA promotes conservation of Industrial heritage in Malta and is equipped to leads and participate in research projects.
